About me

I'm from a small town called Horishni Plavni in Ukraine, where there weren't many entertainment options, but there was one swimming pool. I've always loved the water, so I started swimming when I was 8 years old.
As it turned out, I didn't exactly have Michael Phelps' talent (πππ), but I was naturally good at running. I started winning local races, and around that time triathlon appeared in my hometown, so I decided to give it a try. At first, I spent quite a lot of time falling off my bike, but the victories came quickly... and I really loved winning, so triathlon became my thing. π
As the years went by, along with a few more crashes on the bike (I probably hit my head pretty hard at some point, but I honestly don't remember it π€π), I decided that my goal after finishing school was to qualify for the Olympic Games in triathlon. It took me a long 10 years, a few more bike crashes (π΄π₯π ), several national championship titles, and a number of victories and podium finishes at the Aquathlon World Championships.
Eventually, the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro became the peak of my athletic career, the place every professional athlete dreams of reaching.

That was also the moment when I started thinking about what would come after my competitive career. By then, I had already gained a lot of experience not only in triathlon, but also in swimming and running. So it felt like the most natural decision in the world to become a coach and share my experience with anyone who wanted to improve.
It was probably the best idea I've ever had... (or maybe I hit my head again π€π and just don't remember it). After spending a lot of time in Toledo, where I was a member of a lovely local triathlon club, Tritoledo, I moved to Barcelona.
And here I am, ready to share my knowledge, experience, and skills with you.
